The College is currently seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic Head of English. Experience in teaching Stage 6 is essential; HSC Marking experience of the new Stage 6 syllabus is an advantage.

Additional responsibilities as you undertake the Head of Faculty role:

• provide innovative strategic leadership and support to your faculty for sustained academic improvement;
• model and nurture leadership within the faculty, for aspiring proficient practitioners;
• lead and support your team’s development and administration of inspiring learning programs and assessments; 
• lead your faculty to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences for students that reflect innovative 21st century learning;
• ignite your passion for the College’s Building Purposeful Lives (BPL) learning framework, embracing a learning powered approach to your teaching and learning
• attentively monitor compliance with NESA requirements; and,
• discerningly manage the faculty budget.

As the successful candidate you will also be able to demonstrate, at interview, a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship. 

Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to provide a Working With Children Check clearance number or clearance letter and must be able to live and work in NSW.
